If Dr. Grunander finds anything unusual during your screening colonoscopy, her staff will ask you to return to the Ogden Clinic for a follow-up visit. Dr. Grunander uses specialized technology to diagnose and treat colorectal conditions including endoscopy. Endoscopy is a way of looking inside the body with a flexible tube that has a small camera built into the end. Dr. Grunander will use an endoscope and small instruments inserted through it to:

• Look more closely at an area inside the body

• Take samples of abnormal tissues

• Treat certain diseases

• Remove tumors or foreign bodies
